Composite material and section often termed as composites are famously known as composition materials. These materials are engineered to use and sometimes occur naturally with the combination of two or more materials. Even after the extraction the physical and chemical properties they posses Composite Structural Profiles remains different within the finished product. Some examples of composite products are disc brake pads, which is made from hard ceramic particles embedded in soft metal matrix. Some other examples are that they are used to make shower stalls and bathtubs which include fiberglass. They are used in the preparation of countertops, marble sinks and imitation granite which is widely used all over. The most important and leading uses of these materials are in the spacecraft industry with much higher demand and increasing. Some of the oldest man-made composite materials are Wattle and daub which is about 6000 years old as stated by researchers. Another most widely used composite material is concrete which is used more than any other man made material in the world. Statistics present the figures that at the end 2006 about 7.5 billion cubic meters of concrete were made each year which is more than one cubic meter for each person on Earth. In history and even today in some parts of the world we found that the man made composite material which is the combination of straw and mud combined to form bricks for construction building. Timber is also a natural composite material consisting of Cellulose fibers in a matrix of lignin. If you look little deeper into the process of composites preparation we see that composites are made up of constituent materials. There are two categories of constituent materials available and they are called matrix and reinforcement. The matrix materials are used to support the reinforcements and maintain their relative position while reinforcement materials present their special mechanical and physical properties to boost the matrix properties. There are many campsites available that uses polymer matrix material also known as resin solution and these are commercially produced composites. The fibers use reinforcement materials in the process of preparation and also called commonly ground materials. To reduce the resin content and to increase the fiber contents in the final product various methods being used in the process. In the early stages the material consists of 40% fiber and 60% resin but after the vacuum infusion process the product becomes 60% fiber and 40% resin. This will greatly increase the strength of the final product.
